Shipping Information

Shipping & Delivery Guidelines

Once manufacturing of your Forno Classico oven is complete, shipping typically takes 1–2 weeks from our factory to your location.

Your oven will be delivered via a common carrier to the nearest local facility. The carrier will contact you directly to schedule a delivery appointment. It is important to select a time when you are available, as you must be present to receive and inspect the oven upon delivery.

Inspection Upon Arrival

Before accepting the delivery, you must carefully uncrate and inspect the oven while the carrier is present. This step is critical.

Once the delivery is signed for and accepted, it is considered confirmation that the oven has arrived in good condition. Carriers typically will not honor damage claims after acceptance, and Forno Classico cannot be held responsible for damage reported after the carrier has left.

Inspection checklist:

  • Examine the shipping crate for visible signs of damage or mishandling
  • Check the Shockwatch Indicator label:

    Red indicator = possible impact or rough handling
    Missing indicator = potential issue that must be noted

  • If any concerns are present, clearly document them on the Bill of Lading before signing
  • Open the crate using appropriate tools (e.g., screwdriver) and inspect the oven thoroughly
  • Check for any dents, chips, cracks, or structural damage

If any damage is identified:

  • Do not accept the delivery
  • Complete a damage claim form immediately
  • Take clear photos of both the oven and the packaging for documentation
  • Contact Forno Classico as soon as possible

Important Delivery Notes

All ovens are delivered curbside. This means the carrier is responsible only for delivering the unit to the street or driveway—not for moving it into your property or installing it.

Due to the size and weight of Forno Classico ovens, customers must arrange appropriate equipment—such as a forklift or similar machinery—to move the oven to its final installation location.

Additional Information

For complete handling, installation, and operating procedures, please refer to the Installation and Operation Manual provided with your oven.

Proper preparation and careful inspection at the time of delivery will help ensure a smooth installation process and protect your investment.

Freight Delivery Options

Shipping costs for our ovens and large components are calculated based on the total weight of the shipment and the delivery distance. For deliveries within the 48 continental United States, Forno Classico applies a fixed national rate that covers most destinations. Additional charges may apply for remote or hard‑to‑reach areas.

When you place an online order, an estimated freight cost will appear in your cart. After your order is submitted, a Forno Classico representative will contact you to confirm delivery details and update the quote if necessary.

Orders to Hawaii or Alaska may be placed online, but final freight quotes are handled directly through our office.

All ovens are packaged with care. Please inspect your shipment thoroughly before signing any carrier documents.

Residential Curbside Delivery

Curbside Delivery is the most economical option.
The shipment will be placed at the first accessible dry area, typically at the end of your driveway.
The customer is responsible for moving the pallet, unpacking the oven, and transporting it to the installation area.

Residential In‑Gate Delivery

In‑Gate Delivery places the shipment just inside your property line or gate.
The customer must still provide their own labor and equipment to move and unpack the oven.

⚠️ Patio Placement Service — Not Available

Forno Classico does not offer Patio Placement service.
We do not deliver ovens directly to patios or outdoor installation areas, and we do not remove packaging materials on‑site.

The customer is responsible for moving, unpacking, and transporting the oven from the delivery point.

Shipping Damage Policy

Please inspect your shipment immediately upon delivery.
Damage reported outside the required timeframes may not be covered.

If damage is present:

* Take clear photos of the packaging and product
* Keep all packaging materials
* Contact Forno Classico immediately
* If the packaging is severely damaged, you may refuse the delivery

Curbside & In‑Gate Deliveries

Inspect all crates and boxes before the carrier leaves.
If visible damage is present, open and inspect the affected items before the carrier departs.
All damage must be noted in writing on the delivery receipt.

Shipping to Canada and Other Countries

Forno Classico ships to international customers; however, direct deliveries are available only within the United States and Canada.

For shipments to Canada or other countries, a custom quote is required. Costs vary based on:

* Distance
* Customs regulations
* Import taxes and duties
* Services requested by the customer

The customer must arrange for an international customs broker or freight forwarder to complete customs clearance and receive the oven.
