We have had some great times with our Forno Classico Piccolo Grande oven. It has become the centerpiece of our backyard gatherings with friends and family. Giuseppe is a true artisan and this oven is wonderful!

I purchased a residential gas fired pizza oven from Forno Classico (forno piccolo grande 80) in July and I’m am very happy. I researched pizza oven options for over 1 year. Many were too expensive and others did not seem to provide the quality I was looking for. Gas fired ovens provide convenciene but I was woried about not having the wood fired taste. It turns out that our pizza’s are awesome. A tasty, great crisp crust. The oven heats within 1 hour with no work. The best decision I’ve ever made for cooking and home entertainment. We’ve had countless hours hanging out in the backyard making and eating pizza with friends and family. The quality of the the oven has exceeded my expectations and it looks fabulous!

The Forno Piccolo oven design is based upon traditional wood fired ovens found throughout Italy in homes and Italian pizzerias. In creating this oven, Giuseppe Crisa was challenged to adapt the traditional concept for home use by making an oven that is lighter in weight and smaller in size while maintaining the rapid cooking times and distinctive flavor and texture produced by the original ovens. The Forno Piccolo is hand made using terra cotta brick for the dome and a custom 2″ refractory brick cooking floor. Contemporary refractory materials are used for insulation and heat retention to insure the rapid cooking times of the original ovens. Both the dome and the floor have 4″ of state of the art ceramic insulation. Additionally there is 2″ of concrete on the dome and 2″ of reinforced concrete on the floor. This assures excellent heat retention with oven temperatures up to 1000 degrees F. while delivering an exterior oven surface that is warm, not hot, to the touch. Forno Piccolo comes with a steel door and installed thermometer, a terra cotta chimney and chimney cap and a granite hearth. Forno Piccolo heats to cooking temperature in 40 minutes to and hour and pizzas cook in 1-2 minutes. The result–the signature Italian wood fired taste and exceptional crusts for your own home made pizza and breads! Forno Piccolo is designed for year round outdoor use.
For our residential customers we do offer a gas option. This is the same gas burners we offer for our commercial ovens.

Forno Classico ovens are versitile . . . Our ovens retain heat over a longer period of time than other commercially available cement ovens. This allows you to “stage” cooking of various foods as the oven cools. That way, you can bake breads, meats and casseroles as the oven gently cools, allowing proper cooking time for your favorite foods and dishes.
Forno Classico ovens are “Cool” .and they’re “Warm” too! . . .State of the art refractory insulation used in our ovens allows the oven interior to reach temperatures up to 1000 degrees while the exterior of the oven stays comfortably warm to the touch.
